Susan Simpson,Senior Vice President

  • Susan Lee Simpson has worked primarily and extensively in the pharmaceutical sector. Concentrating on research projects that inform strategic marketing plans, international/domestic product launches and global/domestic positioning, her marketing research experience over the last ten years has focused on conducting large-scale market/consumer segmentation projects, market share forecasts, quantitative brand positioning work and other high-end quantitative research (i.e., product optimization and brand equity).
  • Susan has directed many large-scale segmentation and market opportunity studies, both domestically and internationally. Her most recent work has focused on linking primary and secondary data across multiple market constituents (e.g., physicians, patients, MCOs) to inform brand growth opportunities and strategic direction. Therapeutic category experience includes extensive work in cardiovascular health (including dyslipidemia), diabetes and endocrine disorders, CNS disorders (including psychiatric disorders), neurodegenerative diseases, asthma/atopy, dermatology, HIV/AIDS, women’s and men’s health and blood modifiers. She has also gained considerable recent experience in surgical products relating to weight management and aesthetics.
  • Susan earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology from Yale University, with a specialization in health, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
